Our last blog post was in March, 2014. We had just ended our 14 month journey through the US and Canada and finally settled in San Luis Obispo, California. After all that traveling around from place to place, we have loved having our own bed every night and our daily routines. We love our new community and our new friends. Already we’ve grown quite comfortable in our somewhat predictable lives. But, for some reason, we seem to not be able to sit still for long. It’s been very difficult to sit down and write this blog.
This is the last travel entry.
The journey is over.
Of course, the journey is never over ~ in this life or the next. There are just different stages and different kinds of journeys. For us, last year was the journey of a lifetime. Leaving our home in 2012, and then traveling around the country and into Canada ~ visiting spiritual sites, learning centers, and the best of Mother Nature. It was a huge leap of faith. It’s been one adventure after another. We’ve stacked hay on a Christian dude ranch and been pampered at an Indian ayurvedic spa. We’ve prayed with the Hindu’s and chanted with the Buddhists. It’s been quite a ride. And now we’ve come to the end of the journey ~ or is it just a part of a bigger journey? Read the rest of this entry »
As of December, 2013, we’ve been living off and on the road ~ traveling the US and into Canada ~ with everything we need in the back of our Nissan Murano ~ for an entire year. Can you imagine? (Check our map out below. Forgive me if the geography isn’t quite right but you’ll get the picture.)

After six weeks of sitting still and being quiet in our sweet little Spanish casa in San Luis Obispo, we are finally back out on the highway again. We’ve gone from SLO living to life on the run. And we have run into some of the most wonderful places, people, and experiences.
