Note of Caution: There will be times in our lives when the dreams aren’t there, the visions don’t come, and the faith is weak. Sometimes you’re more receptive, more able, and more open and ready. Some days, it’s just simply too much – not today. Some days the best you can do is just putting one foot in front of the other; left foot, right foot, breathe, breathe, breathe. Some days that’s all we can manage, and that’s okay. What then? Given that I’m a life coach who specializes in helping people to “move their lives forward”, people are often surprised when my advice is to slow down and do nothing.
Spiritually, Easter is a time of awakening to unbelievable love, and is therefore a perfect time for choosing to wake up and live your lifeas the gift that it truly is. What better time is there for turning our heads and our hearts toward transformation?
Forget about the bunnies or the colored eggs, and regardless of your religious beliefs, this is a perfect time to tap into the huge collective energy that is here for growth and renewal for ourselves – as well as for humanity. Read the rest of this entry »

Our 26 year old daughter has been visiting us for the past week. After graduating from college and a year traveling in South America, she went out west to California to find her fortune. While she LOVES San Francisco and is extremely bright and energetic,she still wonders what it is she wants to do with her life. One morning on her visit, she came to breakfast looking exhausted and said she’d had insomnia all night. She had been tossing and turning with all the questions and the possibilities. Being 26, she sees herself having many choices, and while she is a fearless personality, she just wasn’t able to see the plan for her life.
I had the most wonderful experience this past Saturday. I had the opportunity to spend the morning with 16 fabulous, gorgeous, inspiring women at the Center for Women in Charleston. It was a mini-retreat – a step away from our regular activities into a space created solely for the purpose of reconnecting with self and others in a deep, meaningful, and purposeful way.
