This past weekend, nineteen women came together to create and hold a space where we could explore our lives, our hearts, our dreams, and our power. It was another magical weekend for which I am so deeply grateful. There really are no words.
I warn women that it will be difficult to explain what happened after you return home. Unless you are there yourself, it’s hard to understand how deeply nourishing and magical the retreat experience is. (more…)

2012 was hard on our families, our communities, our country, our world, and our humanity. The list of all the things that happened this year is long. Things that broke us down and broke our hearts. Things like war, tragedies (natural and otherwise), economic declines, political self-centeredness, along with our own individual, personal calamities. I don’t have to go into the details of all that transpired this year because the news outlets will be playing all the stories for their New Year’s celebrations. However, I feel confident that the overall consensus of all the reports will be that 2012 was a very tough year for the world. (more…)

I remember my mother saying this A LOT when we were younger. “Would you kids please just give me a little peace and quiet?” Bless her heart, she and my father had four small children.
I also remember teachers begging for it. I’ve heard myself crying out for it…”Just a little peace and quiet. Please”.
